Welcome to FreeLingo software and related services!

This FreeLingo User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you and FreeLingo (hereinafter referred to as “we”), governing your download, installation, and use of the FreeLingo software (collectively referred to as “use”), as well as access to related services provided by FreeLingo.

Before you begin using FreeLingo software and related services, please carefully read and fully understand all the contents of this Agreement, especially the clauses concerning disclaimers or limitations of liability, rights licensing and information usage, applicable law, and dispute resolution. Key clauses regarding liability limitations and other important matters will be highlighted in bold for your attention. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you may choose not to use FreeLingo. However, if you choose to agree or continue using it, you acknowledge that you fully understand and are willing to accept this Agreement, as well as other relevant agreements and policies (including but not limited to the FreeLingo Privacy Policy).

Special Notice: The content you authorize FreeLingo to process under this Agreement and during your use of FreeLingo’s services will only be used to provide convenient reminders related to scientific memory learning. You are solely responsible for the learning and memory content you choose. Unless for the purpose of improving our services or with your additional consent, FreeLingo will not use your content for any other purpose. You may modify, withdraw, or delete your content in accordance with FreeLingo’s platform rules. Upon withdrawal or deletion, FreeLingo will remove such information from its systems.

1. Service Content:

• FreeLingo provides services for entering and creating study data, including text, video, images, classical poems, and more.

2. Protection of User Personal Information:

• Protecting user privacy and personal information is one of our fundamental principles.
• While using FreeLingo, you may need to provide personal information (e.g., phone number, device information) so we can deliver better services and technical support.
• We apply technical measures such as encryption and anonymization to legally safeguard your personal information.

3. About the FreeLingo App:

• No account registration is required; your data is synchronized via iCloud services.
• Data Deletion: If you stop using FreeLingo, deleting the app will clear all related data. Deleted data cannot be restored.
• Usage Restrictions: FreeLingo is for personal use only. Sharing, lending, leasing, transferring, reselling, or licensing FreeLingo to others is strictly prohibited. If we have reason to believe the user is not the original purchaser, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate services and may permanently disable access.

4. Breach Handling:

• If your violation of this Agreement or other terms causes third-party complaints or legal claims, you are solely responsible for handling and bearing related liabilities.
• FreeLingo respects and protects the intellectual property, reputation, privacy, portrait rights, and other legitimate rights of users and third parties. You must ensure that your use does not infringe upon the rights of others.
• Without written permission, you may not: remove copyright information from software copies; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software; use, rent, lend, copy, modify, link, reprint, compile, publish, or distribute FreeLingo content without authorization; or use the software or system data illegally.
• Copying, modifying, adding, deleting, or creating derivative works based on FreeLingo software or its data is prohibited. You must not alter instructions or data during runtime, nor distribute tools or software that perform such actions.
• The use of third-party software, plugins, or unauthorized systems to access FreeLingo is prohibited. Creating, publishing, or distributing such unauthorized tools is also prohibited.

5. Data Storage:

• FreeLingo is not responsible for data deletion or storage failures during your use of the service.
• We may determine the maximum data retention period in compliance with applicable laws.
• Upon termination of service, your data will be permanently deleted from our servers and cannot be recovered.

6. Complaints and Reporting:

• FreeLingo promotes a compliant and healthy environment. We reserve the right to take measures against improper or illegal user behavior without prior notice.

7. Risk Assumption:

• FreeLingo only provides a convenient platform for learning and memory purposes. You are responsible for the content you select and its consequences.
• Risks arising from reliance on the correctness, completeness, or usefulness of content are borne by you.
• FreeLingo reserves the right to modify, suspend, terminate, or revoke services at its discretion, and you accept the associated risks.

8. Intellectual Property Statement:

• All intellectual property rights of FreeLingo, including technologies, programs, and content, are owned by FreeLingo. Use of the software does not imply transfer of intellectual property.

9. Force Majeure and Other Disclaimers:

• FreeLingo may be affected by force majeure or other factors, such as political events, natural disasters, or computer viruses. In such cases, FreeLingo will make reasonable efforts to restore services but is exempt from liability within the limits of the law.

10. Service Changes, Suspension, and Termination:

• You understand and agree that FreeLingo services are provided based on current technology and conditions. Factors such as force majeure, network issues, or third-party service defects may cause interruptions.
• FreeLingo may decide at its discretion to modify, suspend, discontinue, or terminate services or functions.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:

• This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-law principles).
• In case of disputes, both parties shall first attempt amicable negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to the people’s court where this Agreement was signed.

12. Rapid Development of the Internet:

• Given the fast-evolving nature of the Internet, this Agreement may not cover all rights and obligations between you and FreeLingo. Supplementary policies, including the Privacy Policy and platform rules, form part of this Agreement with equal legal effect.
• By using FreeLingo, you agree to these supplementary agreements.
• FreeLingo may update this Agreement or supplements as required by laws or business conditions and will notify you appropriately. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Version Updates and Software Maintenance:

• We may update or maintain FreeLingo from time to time to provide better services and new features.
• Services may be temporarily interrupted during updates or maintenance. We will notify users when possible.
• Updates may include important security patches and feature improvements, so timely updates are recommended.

14. User Conduct:

• Users must not engage in illegal activities while using FreeLingo, including but not limited to publishing unlawful content, infringing intellectual property, or sending spam.
• Users must comply with local laws and online etiquette and refrain from spreading malware or harmful content.

15. Specific Intellectual Property Terms:

• Users must comply with applicable intellectual property laws regarding content accessed via FreeLingo. Rights remain with the original authors or FreeLingo.
• Unauthorized copying, modification, or commercial use is prohibited.

16. Termination:

• Either party may terminate this Agreement with prior notice.
• If you violate this Agreement, we may immediately terminate it and cease providing services.
• Upon termination, you must stop using FreeLingo and destroy all related materials.

17. Disclaimer:

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeLingo is not liable for service interruptions or data loss caused by user network environments, device failures, or other factors beyond our control.
• FreeLingo is also not liable for indirect damages resulting from your use or inability to use the services.

18. Feedback and Suggestions:

• We encourage users to provide feedback and suggestions to help us improve services.
• Feedback may be submitted through FreeLingo’s contact channels. While we value user input, we do not guarantee adoption or response.
